The more weight you have around your throat, the more likely you are to snore, because it presses down on your airway. Some pregnant women only snore while on heir backs, so sleeping on your side or in an upright position can help. However, if you are having trouble breathing during the night – a sign of sleep apnea – see your doctor…
Unless you snored before pregnancy, you should begin to sleep quietly again afterward after you’ve had your baby (i.e if your baby lets you)
