If Michael Jackson can do it, Himesh can not be far behind. The latest buzz in the B-town is that Himesh Reshammiya, our desi music director-turned-singer-actor has undergone vocal chord surgery in South Africa.



As a result of the operation, Himesh Reshammiya has two voices now—first one his original nasal voice, and second one- which has been acquired after the surgery. The whole operation took around two hours and was performed by accomplished doctors in that country with utmost secrecy. Himesh had been operated upon around two months back, when he was in South Africa for the shooting of his upcoming flick ‘Kajraare’.


After the successful completion of the operation, Himesh is now endowed with two distinct voices, and the second voice is so much different, that nobody can recognize him while singing.

Sources close to Himesh Reshammiya say that the talented singer actor can sing comfortably in both the voices, and henceforth will be singing in his new voice for all of his upcoming films like ‘Kajraare’, ‘Radio’, ‘Ishk Unplugged’ and ‘A New Love Isshtory’.

The buzz doing the rounds in the industry is that Himesh Reshammiya has been keeping quiet about his new voice, as he wants to reveal it at an appropriate occasion. In fact, the plan is to unveil the second voice while releasing the music of his upcoming film ‘Radio’, which is just some weeks away. Himesh is likely to perform live in his second voice on the occasion.

It may be recalled that Himesh Reshammiya is not new to surgical procedures to enhance his looks and personality after he turned a hero from a music director. In fact, Himesh has not only been trying different looks but also underwent several hair transplantations to enhance his receding hair line.

However, all this bore fruit for the multi-talented singer actor Himesh Reshammiya when his film ‘Aap Ka Surror’ proved to be a winner at the box office. The audiences loved the singer- turned- actor and his bollywood acting career advanced with a bang. The  producers lined up at his door to sign him for their forthcoming projects.

But Himesh’s stock went down in bollywood after his second flick ‘Karzzzz’, a remake of Subhash Ghai’s super hit flick of the same name, bombed at the box office.

Hopefully, this second voice will resurrect his bollywood acting career, what say??
