STORY
The plot revolves around the characters of a bumbling cop Dinkar Waghmare(Shreyas Talpade) and a terrorist Balma (Kay Kay Menon) Dinkar is always under pressure to prove himself the worthy son of his late police officer father and this frustrates him.
In fact, Dinkar has never been a good police officer and so never been involved with any serious case of investigation in the Police department. To add salt to injury, the bumbling cop loses his Bajrangbali stickered gun to a terrorist Balma and he must find it before the annual police day function, which is just four days away.
Soniya Bhatt (Mahie Gill) is a fiery news reporter with a channel and Dinkar is completely in awe of her. He sees her only on television but fate brings them face to face when Dinkar goes on to solve cases after cases partly due to fate and partly due to his gun.

In the meantime, Balma, who is on a terror mission to Mumbai, loses his heart of a beautiful bar dancer played by (Pearl) Shenaz Treasurywala. He finally decides to ditch terror mission and mend his ways for his lady love.
What happens to Dinkar’s gun and terrorist Balma after that forms the rest of the film.
PERFORMANCE
Shreyas Talpde, who enacts the part of bumbling cop Dinkar Waghmare, provides some relief to the viewers with his comic actions. In fact, he has been continuously improving his comic action with every new movie.

Kay Kay Menon, who plays the character of terrorist Balma, does not get much scope to display his histrionics. The actor, who wowed the audiences in films like ‘Sarkar’ (he could hold his own even before Big B), fails to do much in this badly written movie.
Vijay Maurya, who acts as a front man for the terrorist group in Mumbai, is good and essays his character with gusto. However, his character is not well defined and there are lots of loopholes. For instance, his change of heart to ditch terrorism is inexplicable in the film.
Mahi Gill, who enacts the part of news reporter Soniya Bhatt, comes out with a confident performance. She has been improving with every new movie and must be appreciated for that. Shenaz Treasurywala fails to impress with her part of bar dancer. Others provide ordinary support to the main cast of the film.

The direction of Indrajit Nattoji is passable. He seems to be handicapped by poor writing, which fails to properly define the different characters in the film. Music is ordinary. Other production values just pass the muster.
STARDUST VERDICT
Despite of presence of seasoned actors like Kay Kay Menon and Shreyas Talpade, the flick won’t find many takers at the box office. A below average fare.
