STORY
The story of this slick thriller revolves around a group of people who have lost their memory and do not remember what happened in the past. it all begins with Fardeen Khan who finds himself in dilapidated factory and is unable to understand the cause of his seclusion in that place.
Soon Fardeen discovers that he was not alone and, in fact, was surrounded by five more persons—Aftab Shivdasani, Dino Morea, Manoj Bajpayee, Danny Denzongpa and Diya Mirza.
Initially, Fardeen takes them to be dead but soon they too wake up from their dead- body- status. But they, too, were not being able to recall about their past lives. Even the cause of their presence in the deserted factory was troubling them.
However, their different conditions-- like one person was handcuffed with a railing, while some others had bullet wounds and still another person had been tied with a chair—was telling some dangerous story in a very revealing manner.
Soon they come to realize through the application of their intelligence that some of them had been kidnapped by the remaining people, and that was the cause for bullet injury and other cruel treatment.
Soon it becomes clear that a leakage from the gas container was the real culprit behind their loss of memory and all those things that were making them suspicious of each other’s motives and actions.

However, the question is still unresolved that who was kidnapper and who had actually been kidnapped, or if the real culprit was trying to fool other by pretending loss of memory. All these things are revealed in the later part of the story.
PERFORMANCE
Irrfan Khan, who enacts the character of a sinister man in the flick, comes out with a winner performance. He is complete natural in his character and does not seem to be acting.
Manoj Bajpayee, who had enacted a memorable part opposite Amitabh Bachchan in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s ‘Aks’ has again come out with a super performance. Similarly, Danny Denzongpa excels in his character and it has become usual for him now after giving super performances in so many flicks.

Fardeen Khan, who plays the character of a person having lost his memory and waking up in deserted factory, is good and seems to be improving with every new movie. Similarly, Aftab Shivdasani enacts his character with understanding.
Diya Mirza, who also wakes up along with other four characters in the dilapidated factory, has pitched up a powerful performance, and is certainly an improvement upon her earlier roles of a glam doll.
However, Neha Dhupia’s character of harried wife searching for husband seems somewhat out of place. In any case, the gorgeous babe of bollywood has hardly any scope to showcase her talent in the film. Gulshan Grover and others have done good job.

Direction of Suparn Verma shows good result in the second half of the film, when answers to most of the questions raised in the first half, starts coming. However, first half seems to be somewhat slow, but it must be admitted that it had to be so to establish the characters.
Action sequences by Tinu Verma are good and gel with the slick mood of the flick. Cinematography is superb, while sound design seems to be of international standard.
STARDUST VERDICT
Despite of presence of Fardeen Khan, Neha Dhupia and Diya Mirza, the movie has been made with an eye on the yuppie crowed going into multiplexes in big cities and they should find it interesting. An average fare.
