Shilpa Shetty, the hottie from bollywood who got engaged recently to
London- based businessman Raj Kundra, is all set to tie the knot on
November 22 in Khnadala.
The wedding will take place at Shilpa Shetty’s
friend bungalow in Khandala and no one from Bollywood would get an
invite to be present there. Even, Shilpa Shetty’s sister Shamita Shetty,
who is taking part in a reality show ‘Bigg Boss’, will not be able to
attend the wedding of her elder sister due to contractual obligations of
the show.
The officials from the Colors channel say that the reality
show will end only in December, and if Shamita is not evicted before
that date, they would not be able to do much in the matter. They also
made it clear that till date no one had approached them for the release
of Shamita from Bigg Boss’s house, and so they were not aware of
Shamita’s plan about wedding.
Meanwhile, Shilpa Shetty has decided to have her mehndi and sangeet ceremonies in Punjabi style (Raj Kundra is a Punjabi), while the saat pheras will be held in South Indian fashion (Shilpa Shetty comes from South India).
A grand reception will also be held for bollywood brigade in a posh Mumbai hotel, though the name of the venue has been kept secret till now.
