Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the gorgeous bahu of Amitabh Bachchan who plays lead in Shankar’s upcoming flick ‘Enthiran: The Robot’ opposite Tamil superstar Rajnikanth, obliged the producer by launching the music of another Tamil production ‘Rettaichuzhi’ in Chennai.




The film is being directed by talented Thamira, while veteran Balchander and Bharathiraaja play pivotal roles in the flick. Aishwarya endeared herself to the audience when she spoke in fluent Tamil amidst her largely English language speech on the occasion. As the film is being produced by Shankar, who had earlier directed her in ‘Jeans’ and presently doing the same in ‘Enthiran’, Aishwarya could not refuse and obliged him with her presence.




However, her stunning beauty and impeccabale manners (she stood on spotting veteran Balchander and others) had the audiences mesmerized throughout the function. She also promised that she would love to watch the movie in leisure. In fact, Aishwarya Rai was in Chennai with her mother Brinda Rai, for the shooting of her upcoming film ‘Enthiran’, which is being made in both Tamil and Hindi languages by Shankar.

It may be recalled that Shankar’s ‘Jeans’ was one of the first few films that were offered to Aishwarya Rai after she had won the title of Miss World. While several of her films bombed at the box office, ‘Jeans’ successfully established her on the road to stardom in Tamil and Hindi film industry. It is for this reason that Aishwarya regards Shankar as one of her god fathers in the movie industry.
