Bipasha Basu, the sizzling hot sexy bong bombshell of bollywood who plays the lead in Sanjay Gupta’s upcoming flick ‘Pankh’, will be essaying a character based on Hollywood’s stunning beauty Sophia Loren’s role in ‘Cabaret’.




However, this role will be only one of nine characters that sultry bong babe would be essaying in the film. Furthermore, the strange thing of it all is that Bipasha Basu does not exist in ‘Pankh’, but nonetheless she plays nine characters. Puzzled na! Well, actually Bipasha Basu comes only in the imagination or thoughts of lead player Maradona Rebello in the film.




Whenever, he is in the erotic mood, Bipasha dons a sexy avatar and gives him company and whenever he is in pensive mood; Bips provides him support to remain in the same position. Similarly, whenever Maradona is in aggressive mode, Bipasha’s character dons the similar modus operandi. In fact, Bipasha Basu’s character has been used to portray all the nine emotions of mankind in the film.

Bipasha Basu is very enthusiastic about the film, and in fact, took active part in the concretization of her different looks. As the director Sudipto Chattopadhyaya also came from Bengal, they had developed a great understanding on the sets of the film and their working chemistry was superb.

‘Pankh’ is due for a world wide release on April 2 and Bipasha Basu is excited about the response at the box office. This is especially so as Bipasha enacts nine different characters on the screen for the first time in her bollywood career.

Though, skeptics feel that the ongoing Indian Premier League cricket matches can affect the film adversely, but director Sudipto Chattopadhyaya feels that the movie has enough meat to survive at the box office even after discounting the IPL craze among audience.
