Anshuman Jha, the gutsy actor who makes his bollywood debut with acclaimed flick ‘Love Sex aur Dhoka’ directed by Dibakar Banerjee(of ‘Khosla Ka Ghoshla’ and ‘Oye Lucky, Lucky Oye’ fame), had earlier refused to work in Aamir Khan’s home production ‘Delhi Belly’.




Anshuman Jha plays the character of a student (Rahul) from a film institute in North India who is making a film for his final diploma year. The filmmaking is largely an amateurish exercise wherein he falls for the heroine much in the way of Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’. However, he does admit that his face was entirely different from a traditional bollywood hero and some even indirectly referred to it as ugly, but he seldom took notice of such things.




Come what may, but Anshuman Jha was sure that he wanted to make his bollywood debut as a lead man and that too with someone like the caliber of Dibakar Banerjee or Anurag Kashyap. It is for this reason that he refused Karan Johar’s offer of playing the best buddy to Ranbir Kapoor in ‘Wake Up Sid’ or for that matter even in Aamir Khan’s ‘Delhi Belly’.

Anshuman Jha is not apologetic about the explicit love scenes that he enacted in just released film ‘Love Sex aur Dhoka’ and justifies them as per demand of the story. However, he does not forget to warn the audiences that if they were looking for some cheap sexy scenes in the flick, they would be severely disappointed after watching the flick.

‘Love Sex Dhoka’ is an altogether different flick from bollywood and relates three stories in it. The flick has been shot in a digital format which is certainly new for the tinsel town. The flick also represents the restless new generation of filmmakers who are ready to cross the boundaries of predictable box office stuff.
