STORY
The story revolves around a very successful merchant banker Milind Soman (Dev Rawal) and his brother Dino Morea (Shantanu), who falls in love with Sheetal Menon (Antara Tyagi) who is a supermodel by profession. Dino Morea wants to take his love for Sheetal Menon to logical conclusion by marrying her. But suddenly drama takes a sharp turn when Sheetal recognizes Milind Soman as the person Inder, who had raped and killed her elder sister when she was a little kid.
Though Milind Soman denies the allegation of murder and rape, Dino Morea wants to find out the truth for himself and goes to Kulu Manali, where Sheetal had spent her childhood days. But as Dino and Chetan Hansraj (Prem) try to reconstruct the story of Sheetal Menon’s childhood in Kulu Manali, they face obstructions in their pursuit of truth, perhaps on the instructions of some influential person. Somehow, nobody is interested in telling the truth or if somebody tries he is murdered mysteriously.
Meanwhile, Milind Soman has been trying to persuade Sheetal Menon to retract her allegation so that she could marry Dino Morea and become part of Milind’s family. Milind dotes on his younger brother Dino and wife Simone Singh (who walked on him after the Sheetal’s allegation) and wants to win back their love and respect.
However, Dino somehow finds out the truth but by that time Sheetal has retracted her allegation saying that she was lying. What happens after that and what the truth is revealed in the climax.
PERFORMANCE
Milind Soman does a decent job in the role of a merchant banker but could have been more convincing without his long hair and beard. Dino Morea has done full justice to his character of Shantanu and looks very earnest in his approach. Sheetal Menon in the character of supermodel Antara Tyagi has given a mature performance and her future looks bright. Simone Singh is natural and does a fair job. Chetan Hansraj passes the muster. Roshni Chpora is good while Deepshikha is just okay. Others provide able support to the main cast of the film.

The direction of Pawan Kaul is good. The music by Pritam and Siddharth-Suhas is okay, especially the numbers ‘Jaane kyun tanha’ ‘Teri aankhon ki nami’ and ‘Meri Aankhiyaan’ are finely tuned. Other production values are good.
STARDUST VERDICT
A good and interesting thriller with ample entertainment quotient for the masses and classes alike.
