STORY
The film begins with the discovery of a dead body of a woman by the police in the night. All circumstantial evidences point out that the murder was committed by Jimmy (Mimoh Chakraborty), who is a hard working mechanical engineer and also works as a DJ during the nights to earn some extra buck. Jimmy wants to clear off the debt of his late father (Prithvi) as soon as possible, but he surprises everybody when he admits to having committed the murder and goes to jail.
Jimmy is sentenced by the court of law to be hanged untill death. But during his stay in jail, Jimmy comes to know that it was all a part of conspiracy to implicate him in the murder. What Jimmy does after that and what fate awaits him outside the jail forms the rest of the film.
Ranbir Pushp, who has written the story, has made a hotch potch of stories of masala films of eighties and seems completely out of place. The story seems outdated and does not make any sense.
PERFORMANCE
Mimoh Chakraborty makes an average debut with this film. His energetic presence and facial expressions are very good and should be appreciated. The newcomer has the potential but needs to take care of his dialogue delivery and styling. He looks too bulky by today standards and should make effort to lose weight. Mimoh could have done better with a better script. Vivana is gorgeous but acting is not her cup of tea. Rahul Dev has no scope to perform and his presence is simply wasted. Zulfi Syed is okay but Ehsaan Khan and Vikas Kalantari do not add anything. What Shakti Kapoor is doing here?

The direction of Raj N Sippy is seriously handicapped by lack of a worthy script which would have in consonance with the times and also suited the young actor’s personality. The music just passes the muster with the ‘marhaba’ number being better choreographed. Other production values are average.
STARDUST VERDICT
In a nutshell, the film seems outdated in spite of some earnest effort by Mimoh Chakraborty. It will not find many takers at the box office in this age of multiplexes, a poor fare.
