STORY
This is a thriller which has more in common with Hollywood movies than our own bollywood flicks. The story begins with the disappearance of the wife (Neha Uberoi) of a rich businessman (Arbaaz Khan) during night, which actually turns out to be a case of abduction. The abductor (Sikander Kher) demands a huge sum of money to release Neha Uberoi. All of a sudden, the story takes a turn and Neha is somehow murdered. Sikander buries Neha’s body, but this does not solve the matter and mystery further deepens.
The plotline of the film is very good and is successful in keeping viewer on the edge of his seat. The film has twists and turns but no deviations from the adopted path. This is a fresh thing in a bollywood flick, though songs do obstruct the smooth flow of the story sometimes.
PERFORMANCE
Sikander Kher impresses in his first outing and the budding actor has a great future in bollywood. The debutant has competently performed the complex character in the film and comes out with flying colors. Sikander has a screen presence which can not be missed. Neha Uberoi is not only gorgeous, but also acts her part well and shows promise for the future.
Arbaaz Khan does act his part as a business man with conviction. Dayashankar Pandey and Sachin Khedekar do not have much to do in the film. Shakti Kapoor passes the muster. Others provide able support to the main cast of the film.

The direction of Hansal Mehta is good and he is successful in holding the attention of the viewers throughout the film. However, inclusion of songs in this type of movie only hampers the flow of narration. Sanjay Gupta, Rajiv Gopal and S Farhan’s writing is good but the Neha’s reaction in the climax sequences required some explanation with the help of one or two scenes. The dialogues by Milap Zaveri are good, while Vikash Nowlakha’s cinematography is of top quality. The background score by Amar Mohile is up to the mark.
STARDUST VERDICT
The subject of movie is off beat, which will appeal to only a particular segment of viewers who love thrillers. But its business at the box office could have been better if it had not clashed with the semi final and final matches of IPL over the weekend. An average fare.
