STORY
The plot of the film revolves around a couple Nikhil (Randeep Hooda) and Tara (Shahana Goswami), who are in love, but yet far away from marriage. They are both ambitious and want much more from life. For instance, Nikhil is a workaholic and places everything below his commitment for work. He is always busy with clients and other work related responsibilities.

But Tara wants to take a step further towards commitment in their relationship and wants marriage. Nikhil does not take it seriously and is happy with the things as they are. In fact, he takes Tara and her love for him as granted and stops bothering about her and her concerns. This irritates her and the relationship takes a turn for the worst. What happens after that and how they resolve to come out of it forms the rest of the film.
PERFORMANCE
Randeep Hooda, who plays the character of Nikhil, looks confident and has carried the role well. He has beautifully adapted himself from a hero of gangster films like D, Risk etc to a romantic film like this one. Even the usual charge of overacting does not stick this time.
Shahana Goswami, who plays the character of Hooda’s wife, is just brilliant. She looks so convincing in her character that nothing is left to be desired. It’s an onward journey for the lady from Rock On. Rati Agnihotri is good in her short role. Jayant Kripalani, too, enacts his part well. Kulbhushan Kharbanda’s calm look in the movie impresses. Others provide ample support to main cast of the film.

The direction of Arjun Bali is good, keeping in mind that it was his debut directorial venture. However, his debut could have better if he had selected some other subject for this flick. The second hour could have been a little shorter to make it more impactful. The music by Satyadev Burman and Sameeruddin is just okay. The cinematography by Andre Menzes is successful in capturing the beauty of Bangkok.
STARDUST VERDICT
Though it is an average film but given the fact of lacking in star value, it has little chance at the box office. An average fare.
