STORY
The plot of this horror flick revolves around an isolated Castle in Yorkshire (set in 1920 AD), which seems to have a secret of its own. The house is haunted and probably has a will and life of its own. Its record says that anybody who tried to pull down the house in the past, died under mysterious circumstances.
Arjun (Rajneesh Duggal) has been given the task of building a hotel on the site where the house stands. He soon moves into the house with his wife Lisa (Adah Sharma) to live but the house begins to haunt them in strange ways. Soon the spirit takes over the body of the girl and drama moves to another level.

Weird things start happening as soon as they settle into house. They found the sequence of events inexplicable and feel shattered. The couple has only their faith and love to fall back on in those scary times. How they come out of all these things forms the rest of the film.
PERFORMANCE
Rajneesh Duggal, who plays the leading character of Arjun, displays confidence on screen and this bodes well for his future. Whatever awkwardness seems to be there may be ironed out with some experience in the filmdom. However, Adah Sharma is superb in the character of Lisa and impresses with her histrionics. She has fully taken advantage of her author backed character in the film.
Even Anjori Alagh looks gorgeous and acted very well in the second half of this horror flick. Raj Zutshi, who plays the character of the priest, has done full justice to his character in the film. Indraneil, too, is good in his short role. Vallabh Vyas also justified his character of doctor.

The direction of Vikram Bhatt is top notch and he seems to be in his elements once again after ‘Raaz.’ Though the pace of narration slows down some time but he never allows slipping the grip completely. He has executed the whole thing superbly and in this regard the scenes where spirit talks to doctor, or warns the priest or Rajneesh chanting Hanuman Chailsa stand out.
The music by Adnan Sami goes with the theme of the movie. While ‘Bichua’ number, which has been filmed on item girl Rakhi Sawant, will attract masses, Kailash Kher’s ‘Tujhe Main Pyaar Karu’ and Pt Jashraj’s ‘Vaada’ have its own appeal and class. The camera work by Prvain Bhatt is good.
STARDUST VERDICT
In the series of horror flicks, this Vikram Bhatt’s film stands a good chance with the masses as well as classes. An above average fare.
